The Trouble with Christmas by Amy Andrews is the second book in her Credence, Colorado series but can be read and enjoyed a stand alone. This fake relationship romance is so jam packed with holiday cheer it will without a doubt put you in the Christmas mood/5. The second portion of the book, which deals with the difficulties of celebrating Christmas in a democratic, multicultural society, raises an important issue: There are many who choose not to celebrate Christmas; thus, continuing to expect everyone to participate in or be tolerant of a religious holiday in which they do not believe is unrealistic and undemocratic/5(18).   The first book in her Christmas, Colorado series, The Trouble with Christmas, was the inspiration for the Hallmark movie Welcome to Christmas. Her books have been praised by RT Book Reviews for their "likable characters, clever dialogue, and juicy plots." When Debbie isn't writing, she enjoys spending time with her family in Ottawa, : Grand Central Publishing. In The Trouble with Christmas Tom Flynn challenges America's most popular sacred cow. Alternately outrageous, satirical, and thoughtful, this rollicking critique calls Christmas to account. How many holiday traditions are authentically Christian?4/5.

The Trouble With Christmas was absolutely adorable! If you like Kasie West, Cookie O'Gorman, Lisa Brown Roberts or cute ya romance, then you should definitely check out this book. The story line was a ton of fun, the characters were so easy to connect to and /5.   The Trouble with Christmas I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. First just let me say that I didn't particularly care for this book. But now that I say that just because this book didn't resonate with me doesn't mean that other readers may enjoy it better/5(14).   Madison visits Christmas in an effort to fix the PR damage, meeting both angry townspeople and an extremely hot sheriff, Gage McBride. Romance ensues, but not before Madison is subjected to Gage's relatives, at least three separate accusing mobs, and plenty of Christmas-themed problems. The lovers are sympathetic and well drawn/5(25).   But in the midst of acres of tinsel, far too many tacky Christmas sweaters, and a tree that can be seen from space, he’s starting to want what he lost when he was a kid—a family. Too bad it’s with a woman heading back to New York before the ball drops Each book in the Credence, Colorado series is STANDALONE: * Nothing But Trouble1/5(1).
